Overthinking

Am I the only one who thinks this image is deceiving? Not because of all the fire, but because it’s a man. I’ve always found that women were born with the amazing capacity of overthinking everything to the point of exhaustion. Or maybe it’s just me.

Overthinking is bad on many levels. It stops you from making the right decisions but it also leads to second-guessing. And oh boy, isn’t that just fantastic!

And so here I am, second-guessing my decisions of the past years. Even if I know that they were the best decisions I could have made at the time. Believe me when I say they were all well overthought.

I’m not making much sense so I should stop. I’m gonna go ahead and try to stop blaming myself for the things that didn’t go as I would’ve liked.

It’s all water under the bridge anyway.
